Configure Mac OS X
From the Apple menu, select System Prefrences...
The System Prefrences pane will open. Click on the Network icon (the blue globe)..
Your screen should look like the image below.
Make sure the Show field displays your modem. If not, select your modem from the list.
Set the Configure field to Using PPP.
Click Apply now.
